Documentary, perhaps like no other art form, is an act of collaboration. At its heart is the agreement between storyteller and the story. It is a promise of good faith. Trust. Respect. Stories do not get told, but rather allow themselves to be told.
Without the help of a wide and diverse range of people, such stories could not be made. Along the way, we have welcomed the support of local businesses, creative partners, non- profit organizations, and everyday individuals like ourselves, who believe in the value of capturing these stories before they are gone. We recognize them here, our generous supporters.
Here, we pay special homage to those individuals, heroes, and loved ones who have dedicated their lives in a larger way to the act of story telling. Each of us, in some way have been touched by such dear folks--they are parents with bedtime books, grandfathers with stories of long-ago wars, best friends with pockets full of poems... here is a tribute to those with us now, and those who live on in our hearts. We honor them here, in our tributes.
