In December, the graduates of NW Documentary's tenth Exploring Documentary Production workshop premiered their works at the historic Mission Theater. Over 130 people joined us for an evening of locally produced student documentaries. Thanks to Mike and his staff at the Mission for continuing to support our workshop screenings. Summer 2006
PDX Gallery and NW Documentary teamed up in July for a special fundraising event. The Pearl district art gallery invited members of the Portland Art Museum's Photography Council and Photography Forum to view ELOQUENT NUDE. New friends were made and a special thank you to Jennifer Stoots is owed for making this event possible. Thanks, Jennifer!
Hosted by Gloria and Jeff Hammer, NW Documentary held a private preview screening of ELOQUENT NUDE in June. The esteemed Tom Grant entertained with his signature piano finesse and guests were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming film. Friends of NW Documentary was also unveiled. Spring 2005
NW Documentary offered a new spring seminar with award-winning filmmaker David Weissman. Participants were treated to a special opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at a film that went to Sundance and beyond.

Indies Unite
NW Documentary represented at the PDX Indie Expo, Dec 1. A great turn out of the indie community and public. Special thanks to our friends at the Oregon Film and Video Office, the Portland Indie Group, and Portland Film Project for pulling it all together.
NW Documentary presented Sun Gu Ja at Chusok, the traditional Fall harvest festival hosted by the NW Korean Culture Society.

Sun Gu Ja premieres at Portland Art Museum
Project Youth Doc
NW Documentary teamed up with the Oregon Film and Video Foundation to pilot a first-ever 4-week intensive documetnary summer program for youth ages 13-16. The workshop cumulated in the screening of the completed short documetnaries to a standing-room only crowd in the historic Hollywood Theatre.

NW Documentary celebrated our first year with an all new Spring Series.
An enthusiastic public joined us for special seminars in documentary history,
snapshot photography, music and audio production, and environmental reporting.

Open House
Friends, family, and special guests raised a toast to NW Documentary's accomplishments in 2003 and helped kick off the winter season in our Old Town Office. We shared food, stories, spirits, and screened a special sneak peek of the latest documentary project, Sun Gu Ja.
