An eager public joined Emmy-Award winning OPB Oregon Field Guide producer Ed Jahn for a special evening of clips and behind the scenes accounts of filming stories in some Oregon's remote pockets. The evening was hosted by Ecotrust and sponsored in part by Widmere Brother's Brewing.
Jahn shared some of his finest moments caught on tape, as well as all the trials (and errors) that come from the sensitive and often controversial world of environmental reporting.
Special guest speaker Ed Jahn produces for Oregon Field Guide, and has won six Emmy Awards, both with OPB and previously with Rocky Mountain PBS in Denver, Colorado. He is a fellow woth the Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources and member of the national Society of Environmental Journalists.
