Students joined us the NW Documentary headquarters, located in the center of Portland's heart-- The Old Town/Chinatown district. Bring yourself and a sense of exploration. You'll be provided the simplest tool of documentary and sent off to record the world you see. By the end of the day, we'll regroup and compare the results and prepare a showcase of documentary snapshots for un upcoming exhibit.
Instructor Ian McCluskey is director of NW Documentary. Malia Smith is a talented photographer, graphic designer, and currently completing her study at Art Institute of Portland.
