It's well known in the world of documentary production that most of what an audience thinks they see is actually what they hear. Take a look at the part of documentary few see: the sound design. Students met classiclly-trained composer Tamara Turner and audio engineer Jason Edwards, as they reveled the good, the bad, and the ugly of recording music, scoring soundtracks, and building a tapestry of sound for documentary film and video.
Instructor Jason Edwards is a proffesional audio engineer, who has worked on a variety of film and documentary projects, including Sun Gu Ja, creating original compositions and integrating elements of the live recordings.
