In other news...

NW Documentary has teamed up with filmmaker David Weissman twice for his "Producing A Feature Documentary" workshop. Weissman is producer and co-director of the award-winning doc THE COCKETTES, a feature about the legendary hippie, drag-queen artist group of the same name. Learn more about his film by visiting his website.

NW Documentary collaborated with indie filmmaker Mike Shiley in Fall 2006 for a unique film marketing workshop.

This one-day seminar was led by Mike Shiley, one of the most successful self-distributing filmmakers on the market today. He has blazed new DIY techniques for Independent Filmmaking -- generating more than $500,000 from self-distribution. He shared his success stories and a roadmap for any independent filmmaker to learn how to make their film more publicly visible and profitable. Thanks, Mike!
